Papier-Mâché Paradise, is an original sculptural installation that was completed in 2005 and measures 6' l x 4' w x 8' h.  Each piece of of papier-mâché was painted with acrylic. Real sand was used for the "island".  The "palm tree" is meant to resemble a distorted spinal column and the leaf shapes were based on curly basil leaves.  The "coconuts" are also eyeballs with long wire lashes and rest under the leaves of the tree.  The "mosquito" or largest bird, has pendulous breasts and is the largest inhabitant of the island.  Behind the tree six bug-eyed piranha fish, each painted a color from the rainbow, form an arc.  Two red birds, seemingly flightless, stand near a severed leg that is still wearing a green heel and fishnet stockings.
